We need legislative change to support our full scope of practice. There is significant professional bulling and disrespectful behaviour from GP's towards NP's because of the disparity shown by government decision makers towards nurses in Australia.

More detail is needed to allow for a critical review and determine wether the proposed action will have the desired impact. Health professional and consumers need to be willing to change and be different including working together not from a gate keeping point of view which GP and government have hang on to in the past.
