Better access to Medicare, stop limiting access to private practice within public health, enable nurse practitioners to generate revenue in public sector and they will become a more viable option in Models of care

Nurse practitioners are but one step to a rounded healthcare system and a fiscally viable option, you have allowed medicine to hold the health system to ransom, they control the system. This whole concept of GP being the centre of care, where I live you can’t even get into see a Dr for a sore throat, a pharmacist or nurse practitioner could look at a sore throat and prescribe and provide relevant treatment courses, gosh half the time dr google is easier to access when you live remote, and that is when healthcare becomes dangerous
