What do you think are the most important issues to be addressed in pancreatic cancer in Australia?

Early detection is the most important aspect of the cancer prevention. something needs to be done to give anyone who develops this cancer the best chance possible.

in home support is my next i have been personally affected by this cancer within my mother and watching her torture as she struggled with her anxiety, and there for the stress then put on top of my family to try and manage this was at the very least intense. My family now feels fractured and my mother hasn't even passed yet, with medication routines sometimes changing multiple times a day, on top of having to learn how to keep mum clean, help her to the toilet, position her in bed, curb her boredom, sooth her anxiousness, and to do all this while she held onto any little part of hope that she would get through this or at least have a couple of years with us. All the while the rest of the family has stood tall and encouraged any future plans she had in the hope that she would find comfort in that. (my mum was not ignorant she new what was coming but she wanted more time with the people who truly loved her)
