Guiding principles
In the priorities of Indigenous partnerships and other organisations (eg mental health ,corrections) Specific mention could be made of Tobacco Treatment specialists (Service delivery, Training/education and Medicare billing) as part of programs, these specific services are sometimes lost in general programs and quitting support is often forgotten or left to GP's who often have inadequate time for the required evidence based treatments.

Priority Areas
Would like to see priorities relating to treatment of tobacco use disorder higher up in priority list. Mass media campaigns are important - but access to specialist treatment has not always been available to all populations eg remote Indigenous communities.
Priority area 6 also needs to mention vaping and cover this in both mainstream and digital media

12. Do you agree with the actions listed under each priority area for the draft NTS 2022-2030? Please provide an explanation for your section.

Actions
All actions to be implemented especially by NGO require adequate funding.
Actions in priority area 3 and 8 all essential to try and control supply of chop - chop which appears to have increased in availability and use by addicted smokers. This appears to coincide with increased taxes.
