Overview

Overview

The Department of Health and Aged Care is seeking to engage stakeholders regarding the redesign of the Quality Use of Diagnostics, Therapeutics and Pathology (QUDTP) Program. The QUDTP provides funding to improve the way medicines and medical tests are prescribed and used.

As part of the redesign, two proposed grant opportunities are to be delivered:

  1. Health Professional Education Grant Program – focusing on educational (academic) activities for Health Professionals and Health Workers
  2. Quality Use of Medicines Consumer Health Literacy Grant Program – focusing on consumer health literacy.

The Department will hold the following two stakeholder sessions regarding the redesign of QUDTP Program. Each session will be an online forum of 1.5 hours, and will focus on co-design of the specific grant opportunity through a guided discussion with attendees.

  • Quality Use of Medicines Consumer Health Literacy Grant Program – Tuesday 18 October 11:30am – 1:00pm AEDT
  • Health Professional Education Grant Program – Wednesday 19 October 11:30am – 1:00pm AEDT
