Overview

The review of Australia’s health system performance information and reporting frameworks has been commissioned by the Department of Health, on behalf of the Australia Health Ministers’ Advisory Council (AHMAC).  The purpose of the review is to identify how AHMAC can modernise, strengthen and rationalise Australia’s health system performance information and reporting frameworks. 

Why your views matter

The preliminary findings and recommendations for the review are now open for public consultation through this website www.healthperformanceframeworksreview.com.au. The website is open for public comment from 23 January 2017 – 17 February 2017. Consolidated comments will be presented in a Public Consultation Summary Report that will be made publically available on the same website by March 2017.

What happens next

Following the public consultation process, consolidated findings and recommendations will be provided to AHMAC for consideration.
