Overview
Phase 3 consultation has now closed.
In recognising the importance of thorough consultation to inform this Review, consultation has been organised in three key phases:
- Phase 1: identifying key issues for consideration (completed)
- Phase 2: collaboratively exploring policy solutions to these issues (completed)
- Phase 3: Preliminary Report (completed)
Phase 1 and 2 consultations included almost 160 written and online submissions, eleven face-to-face consultation workshops, two online webinar sessions, and numerous bilateral meetings with specific stakeholders.
Through these consultation processes, the Review heard a diverse range of stakeholder views, which has led to the development of the Review findings. These findings identify both:
- the aspects of the Scheme that have operated successfully since its establishment and which should be maintained; and
- areas within the scheme that have the potential to help futureproof and modernise the Scheme.
Why your views matter
Using the Preliminary Report to inform consideration, this online submission process has been developed to offer stakeholders the opportunity to comment on the findings presented.
HOW TO PROVIDE COMMENT:
Due to the number and length of the findings, they have not been replicated in this consultation hub.
To assist your response, it is strongly recommended that you:
a) first read the Preliminary Report; and
b) have the findings on hand, as a reference, whilst you complete this process.
Please note that all previously provided feedback/perspectives have been captured and considered.
