Introduction & Privacy and Personal Information

The Australian Government Department of Health (the Department) invites you to share your views on the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. 

Please ensure you have read and understood the privacy information.

Your personal information is protected by law, including the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and is being collected by the Australian Government Department of Health for the primary purpose of conducting a consultation process in relation to the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. The Department will collect some basic personal information at the time that you provide a submission. This information will allow us to monitor interest from different sectors and ensure the feedback that we base our work plan on is balanced and reflects the interest of the Australian population. All submissions who have provided consent will be published on the Departments Consultation Hub website. Some submission content may be shared across the Department for the purpose of progressing cancer screening program work.

By providing your basic personal information to us, you consent to the Department of Health collecting information about you for the purposes indicated above. If you do not provide this information, your submission will be unidentifiable and you may not receive any further updates on the progress of this.
