Draft National Health and Medical Research Strategy Consultation
Overview
Welcome to the Consultation Hub for the Draft National Health and Medical Research Strategy (National Strategy).
Australia is developing a National Strategy to guide the future of health and medical research and innovation, strengthen coordination and impact, and improve health outcomes across the country.
This national project needs input from many groups. The Chair of the National Strategy, Ms Rosemary Huxtable AO PSM, has met with key organisations and individuals, held webinars and attended roundtables and meetings over the past six months, to understand what matters most to them, what challenges they face, and what opportunities they see. This advice has guided this draft National Strategy, and we now welcome your feedback towards the final version of the National Strategy that will help shape the future of health and medical research in Australia.
There are four ways you can be involved:
-
- By making a written submission
- By making a short video
- By responding to the guiding questions in the online survey
- By attending a webinar
You can choose to be involved in just one, or in multiple ways.
Before you start your feedback, we invite you to read the Draft National Strategy and the Guiding Questions for Submissions. Both are attached at the bottom of this page, and provide relevant information and questions.
You can respond to as many or as few consultation questions as you wish.
Why your views matter
We welcome submissions from individuals and organisations across the research, health, policy, industry, philanthropy, community and consumer sectors, to help ensure the final version of the National Strategy reflects the needs, strengths, and values of all Australians.
