Consultation on residential aged care accommodation pricing
Overview
As part of the independent Residential Aged Care Accommodation Pricing Review, we want to hear from residential aged care providers, residents, and other stakeholders on how to achieve equitable outcomes for supported residents and contribute to a sustainable sector that can build, upgrade, and maintain high quality accommodation.
A consultation paper has been developed to support interested stakeholders in providing feedback. While the paper sets out some consultation questions for consideration, it is not necessary to provide a response to every question or limit your response only to the questions. Feedback is open on all aspects of the Accommodation Supplement and accommodation pricing within the scope of the Terms of Reference.
Why your views matter
The department is seeking feedback for consideration in the development of policy, program, funding, and administrative settings around the Accommodation Supplement and accommodation pricing.
Your views will ensure that your experience and knowledge are carefully considered in the Review’s outcomes.
How to respond
Please email your response to the consultation paper to accompricingreview@health.gov.au by 5pm AEDT 31 October 2025.
