Advertising Therapeutic Goods in 2019: The Code basics - Melbourne

Closed 8 Nov 2018

Opened 25 Oct 2018

Overview

If you are promoting therapeutic goods (including medicines and medical devices) to the public, you must comply with the Advertising Code.

The Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code 2018 commences on 1 January 2019, replacing the 2015 Advertising Code. If you are advertising therapeutic goods, there are changes you need to know about.

From 1 July 2018, the TGA became the sole advertising complaints handling body. This change was accompanied by new sanctions and penalties that may apply to advertisers who breach the Code. This workshop is aimed at helping you understand how to comply with the requirements of the 2018 Advertising Code.
